Meisterwerk mit Besetzung der Meisterklasse. Typisch für die damals in Mode gekommenen Katastrophenfilme in den 70er-Jahren. Spannend und packend bis zum bitteren Ende!

Mauvais coup pour les francophones : le doublage en Français n'est pas le doublage original !!! Pour moi qui ai grandi avec ce film (vu au moins 20 fois entre 15 et 20 ans!), le subterfuge est flagrant et vraiment navrant, et tous mes repères se sont envolés (non seulement les voix ont changé, mais aussi les répliques!). Dommage, heureusement qu'il me reste ma VHS bien usée...
Ce film est son casting de rêve restent toutefois mytiques, un modèle du genre au niveau du film-catastrophe.
